Тяжело ли было ему сниматься в эпизодах третьего сезона сериала, действительно ли костюм Джона Сноу такой тяжелый, каким он выглядит на экране, есть ли будущее у Джона Сноу и Игритт, что Кит любит делать в свободное от съемок время и какими проектами занят на данный момент? Кит, что тебе больше всего нравится в персонаже Джоне Сноу?
Кит Харингтон: Хмммм... Он мне понравился сразу, как только я прочел его на бумаге для своего прослушивания. Я почувствовал, что он очень похож на меня, и я могу найти с ним много общего. Думаю, у него удивительная история, и он переживает невероятные моменты. Больше всего мне нравится то, что он действительно сложный, многоуровневый персонаж во многих смыслах.

Кит Харингтон: Здорово, невероятно здорово. Они построили невероятную стену из пластика высотой в 50 футов, по которой мы могли по-настоящему взбираться. Это были невероятные ощущения. Очень долго, болезненно и тяжело, но я по-настоящему наслаждался этим.

iEmzy: Какой бы была встреча Джона Сноу и Дейнерис: лед и пламя?
Кит Харингтон: Я тоже задавался этим вопросом. Будем надеяться, что если бы они встретились.... то отлично справились бы. Они оба придерживаются одних и тех же идеалов, в принципе. Кит Харингтон: Думаю, что это делает сериал интригующим и интересным. Он о власти и о том, что люди делают ради нее. Мне очень нравится этот элемент в шоу, и я надеюсь, что человек, который в конечном счете получит власть, по-настоящему заслуживает ее. Надеюсь, что это тот, кто сможет с ней справится. Мне кажется интересными поступки людей ради власти в сериале. Именно это делает сериал таким, какой он есть.

Ты думаешь, отношения с Игритт - хороший задел для будущего Джона?
Кит Харингтон: Думаю, вам нужно немножко потерпеть и увидеть, что будет. Это красивая часть истории - влюбленность этих двоих человек. Это просто любовь, здесь нет никакой связи с властью, они оба искренне любят друг друга, что редкость и в сериале, и в книгах. Мы не знаем, как все будет и будут ли они вместе. Кто знает. Тут все зависит от Джона.

TheOutsiderArg: Ты снимаешься в других проектах, кроме "Игры престолов"?
Кит Харингтон: Да! Я сейчас в Торонто на съемках фильма "Помпеи". Очень захватывающе, моя первая главная роль. Еще я озвучиваю персонажа в мультфильме "Как приручить дракона 2". Это весело, не напрягает и приятно... в этом году у меня выходит пару вещей. Я занят, и мне очень повезло, учитывая то, что я молодой актер. (...)

Marsueldo: Как ты думаешь, судьба Джона Сноу сложилась бы иначе, если бы Кейтлин его любила?

    Game of Thrones: Thank you Kit Harington for joining us today! Kit, what’s your favorite part about playing Jon Snow?

    Kit Harington: My favorite part about playing Jon Snow…hmmmm. I loved him when I first read him on paper when I first auditioned. I felt he was quite similar to me and I related to him in lots of ways. I think he has an amazing story through the show and gets through incredible things. My favorite thing is that he’s a really complex character in many ways and has many levels to him.

    Inbar SwamazganDambeyeineimsan Starkparkinson Haramati: If you ever had a real sword, how would you name it?

    Kit Harington: That’s a good one! I don’t know! hahaha

    Janna Tippe: Do you think Jon would choose to desert the Night’s Watch if he knew Arya was alive and in trouble? He almost did it for Robb, but his relationship with Arya is different.

    Kit Harington: I think he would ask his commander. He’d be in a very similar position as he was in the first season, where he has to be convinced to come back. I think he would try and find her. I think he would.

    Sebbe Svensson: What is the weirdest question you have been asked about Game of Thrones?

    Kit Harington: Tough question! Probably that one! Generally people ask interesting questions. Probably the one about what I call my sword.

    Tommie Sissons: If there were to be a song that would represent John Snow, what would it be and why?

    Kit Harington: It would probably be something about being lonely. There’s one that I always attach to it and I can’t remember what it is now, sorry!

    Emily Langlois: Jon’s had to make a lot of hard choices over the course of the series. What do you think was his toughest decision to make and why?

    Kit Harington: I think his toughest decision comes later in this season. It’s one that really breaks him. He has one each season…not killing Ygritte making that call, not killing Quorin Halfhand that was really hard. There’s one later this season that breaks him emotionally.

    GonzoLeslie: Is your costume heavy?

    Kit Harington: Yes, very very heavy! When it gets wet, it gets heavier and it kills my back on a daily basis. I’d rather it be heavy than cold…at least it keeps me warm!

    Jojzii: What was your favourite scene to film in season 3?

    Kit Harington: I think my favorite scene in Season 3….again it happens at the end of the season so I can’t say what it is sorry! So far, the cave scene was a lot of fun and the climbing of the Wall was intense but an amazing experience. My favorite one is coming up so keep watching.

    jennn_catherine: How do you think Jon has developed as a character throughout the past 3 series?

    Kit Harington: I think he had to grow up very fast. What was interesting playing him was that in the book he was 14 or 15…a lot of his story is about a young man going into adulthood which is difficult to play. They aged him up to my age, but I think he goes through all those things young men goes through and makes all the mistakes they make. He has to learn what honor is and what duty is. When we join him in Season 1 he thinks it’s simple and being like his father will help him know what to do but obviously as the story progresses his honor is tested and has to go through it again and again.

    GonzoLeslie: What do you do with your down time when you are not filming?

    Kit Harington: I like to read, I go to the theater, I’m starting to learn the piano because I think it’s important to learn a musical instrument and I write.

    chaelRay: Kit, what actors inspired you to get into acting? (P.S. You are my favorite character on the show.)

    Kit Harington: Thank you! I’m a huge fan of Edward Norton, I love Leo Dicaprio. There’s a few young British Actors I like, such as Ben Wishell who I saw play Hamlet. He’s the one that inspired me to go to drama school. Emma Thompson is an amazing actress as well.

    sabertooth67: Which house do you think YOU truly belong to? We’ll try not to judge…

    Kit Harington: Me truly…I think I would be a Stark. I would be of the North!

    jojenreeds: What was it like filming the scenes where you and the Wildlings climbed the wall?

    Kit Harington: Amazing, absolutely amazing. They built this incredible 50 ft high wax and plaster wall we could really climb up. It was an incredible experience. It was long and painful and tough but I really enjoyed it.

    iEmzy: How would be the meeting between Jon Snow and Daenerys (snow versus fire)?

    Kit Harington: I’ve wondered that as well. Hopefully they will meet…I’d like to think they’d get along. They both of the same ideals in some ways. Dany is caring and wants to look out for the weak and Jon has the same thing in him. He cares for people. I think it’s one of those things like they either kill each other or have sex…maybe both!

    Elizabeth Widdifield: As a warg, what animal would you have other than Ghost?

    Kit Harington: I would warg into a penguin! Just joking. I’d be an eagle or something…I like the idea of flying, I’d want to fly.

    iEmzy: Jon Snow is quite sensitive…do you think being behind the wall will make him stronger?

    Kit Harington: Yeah! I think after this season there’s a big change that happens in him and he will become a tougher more brutal person. It has made him stronger, tougher and more honest about life and the brutality of love. I think he finishes the season in a place where he has to put up a wall inside himself.

    Jasmine Rider: What is your favourite Jon snow quote?

    Kit Harington: What I like about Jon is that he doesn’t say much. Everyone else is talking all the time and he keeps his opinions to himself. I think it’s the moment with Tyrion in the first season and he’s talking to Tyrion and says something like “Ask me and I’ll tell you dwarf.” I like that line.

    iEmzy: If you could play one of the female characters of the show, who would it be and why?

    Kit Harington: Arya has a very cool storyline but I could never play it as good as Maisie. I would play either Arya or Melisandre. I love those characters…I think they’re brilliant. Melisandre is pretty evil which could be fun to play.

    xginnyx: What do you think about the entire premise of Westeros? The world and the power-politics?

    Kit Harington: I think that’s what makes the show intriguing and interesting. It’s all about power and what people do for it. I really like that about the show and I’m hoping the person who has the power in the end really deserves it. I hope it’s someone who wields it well. I think it’s very interesting what people do for power in the show, I think it’s what makes the show what it is.

    mrscopeland_: Do you think his relationship with Ygritte can be good for Jon’s future?

    Kit Harington: I think you have to wait and and see. It’s a beautiful part of the story that these two people fall in love. It’s love that’s not connected to power and they truly love each other, which is rare in the series and the books. We don’t know whether it will work or if they’ll be together. Who knows, it’s up to Jon really.

    TheOutsiderArg: Are you doing other projects beside Game of Thrones?

    Kit Harington: I am! I’m in Toronto filming a film called Pompeii. It’s very exciting, my first leading role. I’m also doing a voice-over for a project called How to Train Your Dragon II. It’s fun and liberating and enjoyable…I have a few things coming out later in the year. I’m busy and I’m very lucky to be as a young actor.

    Fakedayproject: When playing Jon Snow, what would you do mentally and physicaly to project the character?

    Kit Harington: I always find getting into costume…into the cloaks/heavy boots that’s how I get into the character in the morning. I’ve been playing him long enough now, you’ve got easy roots into who he is and you can sort of get back to doing a new season and easily slip back into his characters. It’s one of the nice things about playing a regular character in something, you go on a long journey with them.

    Mari Sb: Kit, what’s your favorite band? What kind of music do you used to listen?

    Kit Harington: At the moment, I love Bon Iver! I love The National….and Alt J, they’re one of my favorites at the moments. I really want to go to Bonnaroo but I can’t since I’m filming…everyone at that featival are among my favorite bands!

    spooky_dooky: Hey Kit! What does Jon Snow know? :)

    Kit Harington: He knows some things.

    Marsueldo: Do you think Jon’s destiny would of been different if Catelyn would’ve loved him?

    Kit Harington: Good question. I think he would have been a different person and may have not went to the Night’s Watch. She didn’t love him and he became who he was. He didn’t have a mother and that makes a big impact on someone’s life.
