Сайт Entertainment Weekly поделился первыми официальными кадрами из фильма, где встретятся герои "Неуязвимого" и "Сплита". А кинокампания Universal Pictures выдала на гора первый тизер трейлер нового фильма режиссера М. Найта Шьямалана. "Гласс" (Glass) станет сиквелом сразу двух картин М. Найта Шьямалана - "Неуязвимого" и "Сплита". В этом фильме зрители вновь увидят загадочного Мистера Стекло в исполнении Сэмюэла Л. Джексона и неуязвимого Дэвида Данна, которого в картине 2000 года сыграл Брюс Уиллис. Джеймс МакЭвой вернется в образе зловещего Кевина Крамба. Кроме Джексона, Уиллиса и МакЭвоя, в "Глассе" снялись Сара Полсон, Аня Тейлор-Джой и Спенсер Трит Кларк. "Неуязвимый" рассказывал о работнике службы охраны стадиона, Дэвиде, который в результате железнодорожной катастрофы обнаруживал в себе сверхчеловеческие способности. Принять себя таким, как есть, ему помогал продавец комиксов Элайджа Прайс по прозвищу Мистер Стекло. Герой "Сплита" - маньяк Кевин, страдающий расщеплением личности. Он похищает трех девушек, которых собирается принести в жертву своей новой сущности. Фильм стал хитом проката, заработав в мире 277 млн долларов при бюджете в 9 миллионов.

О том, что Кевин живет в одном мире с Дэвидом, МакЭвой узнал во время съемок "Сплита". Шьямалан между делом заметил, что если картина хорошо себя покажет, то он снимет сиквел, в котором Дэвид вернется. Актер даже не сразу понял, что речь идет о герое Брюса Уиллиса.

ТИЗЕР ТРЕЙЛЕР / TEASER TRAILER

Universal Pictures has released one last Glass teaser to hype the trailer debut for the highly anticipated new M. Night Shyamalan film. This Glass teaser focuses on Samuel L. Jackson’s Elijah Price, AKA Mr. Glass. Elijah was positioned as the mentor to Bruce Willis’ superhuman David Dunn in Unbreakable, until it was revealed that Elijah was actually the villain of the story—Dunn’s physical opposite but intellectual superior.

Glass is a sequel to both Unbreakable and Shyamalan’s 2016 film Split, as Elijah and David are brought together once again by the emergence of James McAvoy’s superhuman villain The Beast. We’re all mighty curious to see just exactly how these three paths converge once more, and we’ll get a much better idea of what to expect when the Glass trailer hits tomorrow evening during the film’s Comic-Con panel.

For now, these teasers are a fun way to prep for the reveals ahead. Check out the new Glass teaser below. The film also stars Anya Taylor-Joy, Sarah Paulson, Spencer Treat Clark, and Charlayne Woodard. Written and directed by Shyamalan, Glass opens in theaters on January 18, 2019.

M. Night Shyamalan brings together the narratives of two of his standout originals—2000’s Unbreakable, from Touchstone, and 2016’s Split, from Universal—in one explosive, all-new comic-book thriller: Glass.  

From Unbreakable, Bruce Willis returns as David Dunn as does Samuel L. Jackson as Elijah Price, known also by his pseudonym Mr. Glass.  Joining from Split are James McAvoy, reprising his role as Kevin Wendell Crumb and the multiple identities who reside within, and Anya Taylor-Joy as Casey Cooke, the only captive to survive an encounter with The Beast.  

Following the conclusion of Split, Glass finds Dunn pursuing Crumb’s superhuman figure of The Beast in a series of escalating encounters, while the shadowy presence of Price emerges as an orchestrator who holds secrets critical to both men.

Joining the all-star cast are Unbreakable’s Spencer Treat Clark and Charlayne Woodard, who reprise their roles as Dunn’s son and Price’s mother, as well as Golden Globe Award winner Sarah Paulson (American Horror Story series).

This riveting culmination of his worldwide blockbusters is produced by Shyamalan and Blumhouse Production’s Jason Blum, who also produced the writer/director’s previous two films for Universal.  They produce again with Ashwin Rajan and Marc Bienstock, and Steven Schneider and Kevin Frakes, who executive produce.  Gary Barber and Roger Birnbaum also serve as executive producers.

A Blinding Edge Pictures and Blumhouse production, Glass will be released by Universal Pictures in North America on January 18, 2019, and by Buena Vista International abroad.
