Фильм режиссера Тома Хупера "Девушка из Дании" (The Danish Girl) пока что прошелся только по кинофестивалям в Венеции, Торонто, Милл Вэлли (США) и Эстонии, собрав в прокате треть от миллиона от затраченных 25 миллионов $. Многие страны не решились взять к себе на дистрибьюцию этот фильм, так что Индия, Китай, Восточные страны Азии и Европы не дадут никаких сборов от проката. Но Эдди Редмэйн не унывает, а готовится к еще одному Оскару за роль первого мужчины-трансгендера. Повезет/не повезет покажет 2016 год, а пока 08 декабря состоялась премьера фильма в Лондоне в Odeon Leicester Square. На красную дорожку вышли: режиссер Том Хупер, Алисия Викандер, Себастьян Кох и Матиас Шонартс. Поддержать мужа Эдди Редмэйна пришла Ханна Багшо, при чем Эдди умудрился и в этот раз "выгулять" еще один клетчатый костюм. Speaking to reporters on the red carpet, Eddie said: 'Getting to play her was one of the most wonderful presents,
'I just thought her and Gerda's story - I couldn't believe I hadn't heard it before. I thought it was one of the great love stories of the 21st century, it was the most wonderful experience getting to play her.
'The whole film has been just a wonderful education for me and I've learned a huge amount.'

There aren't many men who can pull off a plaid suit. But with the world at his feet following his Best Actor Oscar win this year, Eddie Redmayne can do no wrong. The 33-year-old actor looked very festive in his red checked suit as he arrived at the London premiere of The Danish Girl on Tuesday night.
The London-born actor was joined by his wife, finance PR Hannah Bagshawe, who opted for a daring black sheer gown.
Eddie was greeted by hundreds of screaming fans as he arrived at the Odeon Leicester Square for the premiere of his new film. Also in attendance was his leading lady Alicia Vikander, who showed off her slim figure in a navy dress with satin skirt and bejewelled corset.
