Рози Хантингтон-Уайтли на открытии новой коллекции Galvan в Лос-Анджелесе, FKA Twigs на показе Topman Design AW16 Show в Лондоне, 08-13.01.2016

FKA Twigs, в миру Талия Барнетт, британская молодая певица и подруга Роберта Паттинсона уверенно завоевывает не только музыкальный Олимп, но и модную лондонскую тусовку. Неделю назад в столице Британии состоялась традиционная Неделя Мужской Моды (LCM AW16). На открытии 08 января, на самый первый показ Topman Design AW16 Show собрались не только мэтры модной индустрии, но и молодые дизайнеры и блогеры. Талию пригласили на это действо не только как гостью, скорее всего, в ней видят еще одного модного дизайнера будущего, ведь ее эксперименты с одеждой многих восхищают. А побывать на мужском показе и прочувствовать модные тенденции зимы-осени вдвойне полезно, как никак Роб рядом, надо одевать добра молодца. Хотя, судя по шоу, Робу даже напрягаться особо не надо, он уже давно ходит так, как только сейчас показывают дизайнеры :) Рози Хантингтон-Уайтли  13 января в Лос-Анджелесе пригласили на торжественное открытие новой коллекции молодого бренда Galvan, платья которого модель с удовольствием уже надевает на различные гламурные мероприятия. Торжественный ужин и презентация (Galvan For Opening Ceremony Dinner Hosted By Swarovski) прошла под спонсорством Swarovski в Частной резиденции на Голливудских холмах. Вместе с Рози была приглашена Джессика Альба. Модельер Анна-Кристина Хаас и команда Galvan, в которую вошли генеральный директор Кэтрин Хольмгрена и соучредитель Сола Харрисон, немного стесняясь, поделились своим волнением из-за нового сотрудничества с такими знаменитостями как Рози и Альба. "У них у обеих есть свой собственный стиль. Они знают, что работает на них. Они также готовы сотрудничать и рисковать. Они уникальны на этом пути". "Они не только красивые, но они супер целеустремленные, они знают, что им нравится. InStyle: Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Jessica Alba Celebrate Galvan's New Collection for Opening Ceremony

New York Fashion Week may be just around the corner, but some of the industry’s most stylish notables kicked off a new year in style Wednesday night in Los Angeles. To celebrate the new Galvan for Opening Ceremony collection, Hollywood stars including Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Jessica Alba, and Natasha Lyonne joined Opening Ceremony’s Carol Lim for a Swarovski-hosted affair dinner inside a private residence in the Hollywood Hills.

Dressed in a stunning Galvan silk slip dress, newly engaged Huntington-Whiteley was eager to celebrate the eveningwear brand’s latest project. “All the dresses are so stunning. They’re just a throw-on slip. They’re slinky, sexy, ready to go,” she said of designer Anna-Christin Haas’s creations. “It’s like the dream dress to me. On-the-go glamour, which is what I try and reach for.”

Alba also wowed with her ensemble of a white Galvan frock with Atelier Swarovski jewels, Stuart Weitzman boots, and Lee Savage clutch. The Honest Beauty entrepreneur gushed over how gorgeous Huntington-Whitely looked. “She’s pretty much my favorite every time. She’s like 10 out of 10, that girl,” Alba told InStyle. “And she’s a really good person. And you can like grab a beer or you can like hang out, like do low key stuff.”

The always-bronzed star also explained why she was so excited to sit next to Orange Is the New Black star Natasha Lyonne: They first crossed paths at an audition in L.A. 20 years ago. “I gave her a ride home from an audition when I was 17 and she was 19,” Alba told us as she greeted Lyonne, who rocked a downtown-cool Opening Ceremony ensemble with matching Miu Miu boots.

Haas and the Galvan team, which included CEO and co-founder Katherine Holmgren and co-founder Sola Harrison, mingled and shared their excitement over the new collaboration. “For a young brand like us, it makes a tremendous difference to have an event like this and to be working also with people like Opening Ceremony and Swarovski, who are such major players, in Hollywood and just in general. So we feel very lucky,” Holmgren told InStyle.

Lim not only agreed, but also explained why Huntington-Whiteley and Alba deserve an A+ in the style department. “They are two individuals that I think have their own distinct style. I think they know what works for them. They also are willing to collaborate and take chances. I think that they’re unique in that way,” she added. “They’re not only beautiful, but they’re super opinionated and I think they know what they like.” And what they like is, evidently, Galvan.
