29 февраля 2016 года в Пекине прошла церемония награждения 2016 Fashion Galaxy Award, на которой приглашенным гостем-звездой стал Джейсон Стэтхэм. Британец выглядел расслабленным и улыбчивым на красной дорожке, с удовольствием давал интервью и участвовал в открытии самой церемонии. Так же гостями стали южно-корейский певец Psy ( South Korean singer Psy), модель Хи Суи (Fashion model He Sui), корейско-американская певица Кристал Янг (Korean-American singer and actress Krystal Jung) и китайские звезды модной и шоу индустрии. Кампания Samsung Galaxy устраивает такие шоу по всему миру. Главной идеей стала поддержка молодых талантов и поощрение на создание тех вещей, что обогащают жизнь людей, в основном кампания предлагает молодым дизайнером общие основания и платформу для партнерства. Samsung имеет богатую историю сотрудничества с индустрией моды и последовательно ищет новаторские способы, которые позволяют потребителям выразить свой личный стиль через свои мобильные устройства. Supporting young talents and encouraging them to create what enriches people’s lives constitutes the common grounds for the partnership established by ITS with Samsung Galaxy, which has been leading the mobile device industry pursuing not only technological inventiveness but also lifestyle enrichment. Samsung has a rich history of collaborating with the fashion industry and consistently looks for groundbreaking ways that allow consumers to express their personal style through their mobile devices. As an everyday companion, a mobile device must be stylized with fashionable creativity. The Samsung Galaxy Award showcased the young talents’ creative blending of technology with fashion, accessories and jewelry design.
As an innovator of mobile industry, Samsung Galaxy partnered with ITS to encourage young talents to explore their creative ideas, and ultimately create a product that unites technology and fashion. Ten finalists were selected from ITS FASHION, ITS ACCESSORIES, ITS JEWELRY, and ITS ARTWORK, and were asked to develop proposals for two assignments to reinforce the features of Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge: produce a new type of smartphone case for the Galaxy S6 or S6 edge and create a fashion item or art piece based on their design expertise, inspired by Galaxy S6 or S6 edge design or features.
