But Robert Pattinson and Mia Goth set their personal lives to the side as they attended the premiere of High Life at the 66th San Sebastian Film Festival in Spain.
It was revealed by MailOnline earlier this week that Hollywood star Shia LaBeouf is dating Robert's ex FKA twigs after splitting from Mia, who put on a brave face while attending the 66th San Sebastian Film Festival on Thursday.
Despite the not-so-flattering circumstance, Pattinson didn't seem to let the situation concerning his ex's new relationship affect the night of his premiere. And it shows in the photos, as the actor smiles and laughs while celebrating the release of his new film.
The co-stars shared the spotlight as they stood right next to each other while posing with Juliette Binoche and Agata Buzek. Pattinson and Goth wrapped their arms around their lower backs as they took a group shot with their co-stars.
Pattinson crouched down to lift young Lindsey off her feet, before continuing to converse with Binoche.
Meanwhile, earlier this month, Pattinson had gushed on how much he'd been wanting to work with his High Life director Claire Denis.
According to Deadline, the collaboration between the two only came about because the English actor took it in his own hands to get in contact with the influential French filmmaker.
'I'd been pursuing Claire for ages,' Pattinson admitted.
'We met in LA, and I just really liked her in the meeting. [But] it was just one of those really long processes—I think it was four years later or something when we did the movie, and it's probably been an eight-year process [in all].'
