collider.com: The last time director Matthew Vaughn adapted a Mark Millar comic, he gave us Kick-Ass. Now the two are back together for another interesting-looking comic adaptation by way of Kingsman: The Secret Service. The pic is a twist on the spy genre, as Colin Firth plays a veteran agent of the secretive Kingsman who is tasked with training a young prospect, played by Taron Egerton. 20th Century Fox presented some incredibly promising footage from the film during its Hall H panel at San Diego Comic-Con this Friday, giving audiences a taste of Firth’s prowess as a deadly-yet-fancy super spy and Samuel L. Jackson’s delightfully eccentric supervillain.
Firth said he plays Egerton’s mentor, but in reality it was the reverse, adding he learned an immense about working on this kind of film from Egerton.
Jackson said he’s always wanted to be in a Bond movie, which is why he jumped at the chance to sign on.
Firth said the film doesn’t have a debt only to Bond, citing The Avengers and all manifestations of the spy genre as influences.
Unfortunately the Q&A was cut extremely short due to time overruns, so not much else was gleaned.
The Secret Service looks to be so much more than just a Bond riff, though. It’s a sort of spy film, but it’s Vaughn’s spy film. There’s a colorfulness to the tone, even though the violence is extremely graphic (someone got literally cut in half in the first scene). In a moviegoing climate crowded with gritty, self-serious, or just plain dumb action, I really think The Secret Service is gonna be something special. It’s big and fun, but it’s stylish and unique at the same time. This one’s high on my most anticipated list.

She wasn't schedule to speak at a panel at the 2014 Comic-Con. But that didn't stop Shailene Woodley, 22, from making a fashion statement as she attended the San Diego event with her hunky co-star Theo James, 29. The Divergent actress went for an androgynous ensemble that consisted of a white shirt and plaid trousers as she promoted Divergent alongside Theo on Saturday.
The Divergent co-stars were attending Comic-Con to publicise the home release of their 2014 film and to meet with fans. Both actors opted for casual and comfortable attire for their meet and greet, and then stopped by SiriusXM for a chat.

Татуму пришлось разогревать аудиторию перед новым трейлером: «Вачовски делают запредельную картину. Ничего подобного вы еще не видели». Свежий ролик, наполненный большим количеством юмора и экшна, был принят теплее, чем предыдущие.
БЕЗУМНЫЙ МАКС: ДОРОГА ЯРОСТИ / MAD MAX: FURY ROAD
kinopoisk.ru: C восторгом зрители встретили первые фрагменты из постапокалиптического боевика Джорджа Миллера «Безумный Макс: Дорога ярости». Исполнители главных ролей Том Харди и Шарлиз Терон не смогли добраться до конвента, так что режиссер представлял ленту в одиночку. Помимо ролика Миллер продемонстрировал новые постеры фильма.
«Я хотел снять фильм, который будет одной большой безумной погоней. В нем вообще не так много разговоров. Настоящий вестерн на колесах».
Съемочный процесс нового «Безумного Макса» уже завершен. В прокат картина выйдет в мае 2015 года.
