2 года подряд Джеймс МакЭвой номинировался на "Лучшего театрального актера", и вот такой момент настал! Мы можем поздравить шотландца с этой наградой! Триумф МакЭвою принес спектакль "Правящий класс" студиии Трафальгар. Церемония вручения наград Evening Standard Theatre Awards 2015 состоялась 22 ноября в The Old Vic Theatre в Лондоне. Знаменитые театралы и актеры нескончаемой толпой вливались в храм театрального искусства. Для всех неожиданно премию "Лучшая театральная актриса" получила Николь Кидман, на сцене ее презентовал Джереми Айронс. Дама Джуди Дэнч и сэр Йен Маккелен вручили награду русского мецената Евгения Лебедева Стивену Сондхайму. А вот прошлогодняя победительница Джиллиан Андерсен на сцене вручила награду Джеймсу МакЭвою. Актер в своей пламенной речи победителя поздравил не только себя любимого с этим достижением, но и львиную долю похвал передал своей жене - театральной актрисе Энн-Мари Дафф. На красной дорожке так же засветился Мартин Фриман с женой, Рэйф Файнс. Журналисты в интервью каламбурили на счет того, что у театра в одночасье сошлись сразу два руководителя разведки МИ 6 агенты М (умершая в "Скайфолле" Джуди Денч и новый М - Рэйф Файнс в "Спектре"), а так же Люди Икс (Джеймс МакЭвой в роли молодого профессора Патрика Стюарта и Йен Маккелен в роли старого Магнето). Nicole Kidman, James McAvoy and Gemma Arterton lead the winners at London's Evening Standard Theatre Awards
She has already won acclaim for her return to the West End. But Nicole Kidman's triumphant London stage revival was solidified at the Evening Standard Theatre Awards on Sunday. She joined James McAvoy and Gemma Arteron in leading the way at the annual event, which celebrates the best performance talent.
Meanwhile, McAvoy was named Best Actor for his role in The Ruling Class. McAvoy was presented his award by Gillian Anderson, who was clad in a skin-tight red dress, and beat competition from Simon Russell Beale for his performance in Temple, Kenneth Cranham for The Father and Ralph Fiennes for Man And Superman. There was also a performance from Pixie Lott, who sung Moon River from the forthcoming production of Breakfast At Tiffany's.
